CRFS has appointed Nick Balon as its new General Manager. Nick was previously Chief Operating Office at Xennia which he helped propel into a leading industrial inkjet company and which was acquired by TenCate Plc. He has been also been an active angel investor and mentor on the Cambridge tech scene. At CRFS he will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company, allowing CEO and cofounder, Alistair Massarella to focus sales, business and technology development.

Alistair Massarrella said,“We are delighted to have got Nick on board. CRFS is at a really interesting stage. We have created a world beating technology and product range based on our proprietary RFeye spectral monitoring node and software. The RFeye represents a step change for spectral monitoring and analysis systems. It makes it affordable to build high-performance dense networks of nodes which will be the key to effective future management and protection of spectrum. Our ambition is to make RFeye the global standard for spectrum intelligence systems. Nick has a great track record in running and growing hi-tech companies and his experience will enable CRFS to take the next leap forward.”
