The RFeye Recorder is a lightweight portable system for high fidelity capture, recording and analysis (using DeepView) of wideband RF spectrum data. It is ideal for the operator who needs to analyze signals in a way that is not possible in realtime. Recorder can capture signals that are intermittent, are of low power, occur outside of working hours, hide next to other transmission sources or have a short pulse duration. By recording the spectrum in high resolution, with a frequency range of up to 18 GHz and a gapless 100 MHz instantaneous bandwidth, signals can be analyzed repeatedly and non-destructively using different settings, ensuring nothing is missed.

The Recorder contains an extremely sensitive RFeye receiver. This is vital to regenerate the original fidelity of the captured signal. It is then linked to a high capacity SSD storage module. Using Thunderbolt™ 3 connectivity, up to six RFeye receivers and SSD units can be daisy chained to create a lightweight, low power spectrum recorder system. Record capabilities include high fidelity, dual-channel recording for over 7 hours. The RFeye Portable Recorder is ideal for portable deployment in the field or as a desktop system in the lab.
