Inside Sales Representative

RF Spectrum Management Systems

CRFS Inc. in Chantilly Virginia, is the US arm of CRFS Ltd., Cambridge, UK, an industry leading worldwide supplier of RF spectrum monitoring and management systems. We are seeking a confident tenacious individual preferably with a technical background, outgoing personality and positive attitude, to support our North American sales operation.  Strong commercial acumen and experience in customer facing roles are essential.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with our customers, have strong written and verbal communication skills.  We are looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail, a desire to be part of a team that is committed to making a difference for our customers and drive to get things done.

The position is based in Chantilly, Virginia and may involve some occasional domestic travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality inside sales support to the US sales team to increase our productivity and effectiveness
  • Actively follow up new contacts and reactivate cold contacts to generate leads for the sales team
  • Support preparing technical proposals and quotes including reviewing for clarity and completeness
  • Support processes for lead generation and conversion using data analytics
  • Work with the CRFS UK based global marketing team to ensure US marketing requirements and needs are supported
  • Conduct desktop research to identify new market and partnership opportunities and gather other information useful to the company
  • Support preparation for CRFS activities at trade shows and industry conferences

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering or other technical subject or equivalent professional experience is preferable.
  • Passionate determination to support our customers, follow up on enquiries, leads and opportunities, and assist the sales team with closing sales
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and high productivity
  • Ability to engage with customers and respond to first-line enquiries with technical credibility
  • Self-starter and a good team player
  • Experience of Saleforce.com would be a major advantage
  • Must be US citizen and have, or be eligible for, a US Government security clearance.
