Quality Professional

The position

We have an opening for a bright, hard-working, well-motivated quality professional to join a fast-growing dynamic company. You will need to maintain the certificated 9001:2015 system in place, supporting the management team by providing competent advice and guidance in all quality related matters. An eye for detail and a completer-finisher mentality is a must to ensure actions and tasks are seen through to their conclusion.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining the Quality System, meeting the requirements of ISO9001:2015, including but not limited to:

  • Providing quality support across all business processes
  • Maintenance of business document management system
  • Developing and maintaining the audit programme
  • Planning and undertaking internal audits, including reporting of findings
  • Support procurement process by undertaking supplier audits
  • Support staff in the investigation of NC’s, ensuring that all necessary corrections and corrective actions are implemented and effective
  • Maintain risk and improvement programmes
  • Organising and reporting at Quality Management Review Meetings
  • Updating and reporting the company wide KPIs
  • Hosting of external assessments
  • Quality induction of new starters


  • Previous experience of administering an ISO 9001:2015 QMS within a manufacturing and software environment
  • Trained Lead Auditor with minimum 2-3 years’ experience of internal auditing
  • Excellent communication and written skills, with an eye for detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to get things done
  • Hard-working and committed team player


  • Ability to oversee and administer Health and Safety company-wide
  • An understanding of the Barbour EHS library would be an advantage, but is not essential
  • A knowledge of JIRA at either a project or admin level would be a significant advantage
