Product Manager

CRFS is looking for a dynamic high flyer to join our team in Cambridge!  The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the business across a number of CRFS products.  The Product Manager must be able to drive market understanding through Voice-of-Customer, help define the product vision and work closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Responsibilities will include full life-cycle management for existing products, planning of new product introductions, pricing, forecasting, positioning, promotion, creating and delivering training, creating and delivering customer presentations/collateral. The Product Manager will need to have frequent and direct contact with our customers, so this position will require domestic and foreign travel.


  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritised features and corresponding justification
  • Lead Voice-of-Customer collection and experimentation to drive market understanding (customer personas, segmentation, etc.)
  • Work with engineering leadership to execute the product roadmap
  • Conduct business case evaluation and financial forecasting of solutions
  • Create product marketing content and sales enablement tools that clearly convey our differentiated value propositions
  • Conduct competitive evaluations and competitive sales briefs
  • Achieve financial plans (orders, revenue, and margin expectations)
  • Work with external third parties to assess synergistic partnership opportunities
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  • Act as a leader within the company


  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interacting, listening and communicating with customers
  • Experience communicating and presenting to large and small groups of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Solid academic background – minimum good Bachelor level degree
  • Positive Attitude and strong work ethic
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and love for working in fast-pace environments
  • Background in Aerospace and Defence would be an advantage
