Our Spectrum Management Systems provide a fully integrated capability for data acquisition, management, analysis and visualisation, to assist regulatory agencies in the administration and control of radio frequency spectrum
Designed for scalability and expandability, and based on an open architecture, our Spectrum Management Systems work closely with both our own Spectrum Monitoring Systems and legacy monitoring networks, to manage the acquisition and structuring of data from large numbers of monitoring nodes. All data is processed and filtered to ensure any discrepancies or possible rogue data elements are identified and flagged as appropriate (with all original data being retained in the database).
Data is stored in the Spectrum Usage Database, mapped against location. Powerful data management, analysis and visualisation tools allow the display of spectrum usage selected by specific combinations of:
Rendering / data aggregation tools provide quick and easy visualisation of logged spectrum data, location estimation and generation of statistics, including spectrum occupancy, and variation of occupancy with time (for fixed nodes).
Data stored in the Spectrum Usage Database may be compared with data stored in the Spectrum Licence Database, which is populated with details of all approved frequency usage. Real-time comparison as data is received allows for the early detection of unlicensed emissions and the generation of alerts to ensure problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Full, flexible data import and export capabilities and automated report generation functions allow easy interfacing to legacy systems, other databases and management information systems.
