CRFS select XJTAG for system test

Cambridge, England, February 28, 2008 – CRFS are incorporating XJTAG into its manufacturing and development systems.

Development of RFeye has been rapid thanks to XJTAG which enables CRFS to test both JTAG and non-JTAG devices. The ability to re-use and port test scripts between circuit boards has saved time for CRFS development engineers.

About CRFS

CRFS is a privately-held developer and manufacturer of innovative real-time spectral monitoring and management systems for customers including wireless network operators, government agencies, public building operators and the military. The company was founded in 2007, and has its headquarters in Cambridge, UK.

About RFeye

The RFeye system is based on one or more distributed, autonomous nodes – fixed or mobile – which can survey the radio spectrum between 10 MHz and 6 GHz. Each RFeye node is a low-cost, robust, GPS-equipped real-time spectrum analyser, which can be linked via a backhaul network such as WiFi, UMTS or GPRS to provide rich and complete contextual information that amounts to a revolution in spectrum monitoring.

The RFeye system includes a range of sophisticated and powerful data management and visualisation tools. Applications for the RFeye system include interference detection, spectrum license enforcement, military and intelligence uses, cell planning, RF environment checks and remote site monitoring.
