Real-time spectral monitoring for the
UK National Database

Earlier this year CRFS was awarded a contract by Ofcom, the UK Telecoms regulator, to develop an initial spectrum usage database for the UK, based on a distributed fleet of mobile RFeye® spectrum monitoring nodes.

CRFS will be presenting the initial results from this trial at an Industry Day to be held in Cambridge on the 6 November, in collaboration with Cambridge Wireless.

The agenda includes:

Presentation of preliminary results from the trial

Live, mobile demonstration of the RFeye® equipment in use

An opportunity to discuss the usefulness of spectrum monitoring using distributed nodes for future spectrum monitoring, policing, and licence enforcement
