Job Title: RF Design Engineer
Reports to: Head of Hardware

Responsibilities
Tasks include:
- Design and development of RF systems/sub-systems to component level to 6GHz ;
- Review of functional requirement specifications and architecture definitions ;
- Test and debugging of development and production hardware to verify performance ;
- Integration of RF/hardware/software ;
- Management of system EMC issues ;
- Thermal management of RF system ;
- Commissioning of complex systems ;
- Providing technical support to design, test, product and qualification engineers.
Requirements
- Relevant degree (or equivalent experience) with proven, practical experience ;
- Experience in a RF R&D engineering environment covering all aspects of life cycle phases ;
- Experience of receiver design using LNAs, mixers, switches, synthesizers and filters to 6GHz ;
- PCB Layout skills for RF/microwave design ;
- Practical RF skills and experience with RF measurement techniques ;
- Proactive and enthusiastic team player ;
- Initiative and entrepreneurial attitude ;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills ;
- Drive, ambition, commitment and the desire to \u201cgo the extra mile\u201d for clients and prospects
